BONE BROTH

🟢 Difficulty: Easy
⏰ Time: 10 minutes prep + 48 hours cooking

🌟 Description

Bone broth is packed with collagen, gelatin, and nutrients like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and fatty acids. It supports hair, skin, nails, joint health, and gut healing. Best results are from beef joint bones, chicken feet, or fish.

🧂 Ingredients

  • 2kg organic free-range bones of choice
  • Bouquet garni (herbs of your choice)
  • Filtered water

Optional:

  • 30ml organic apple cider vinegar (helps extract minerals, may cloud the broth)

👩‍🍳 Method

  1. 🍲 Place bones in a slow cooker or large soup pot (slow cooker preferred).
  2. 🌿 Add bouquet garni and apple cider vinegar (if using). Fill with filtered water—liquid will reduce over time.
  3. 🔥 Cook on the lowest heat for at least 48 hours. Check the bones: if they crumble under your fingers, broth is done.
  4. 🥣 Let the broth cool, then strain out bones and herbs. Store in a glass jar in the fridge.

💡 Tips:

  • Bone broth can be made in advance and stored in the freezer for later use.
